Decline Triceps Extensions

(Olympic Bar)

Decline Triceps Extensions Starting Position

  1. Grasp the Olympic bar with an overhand grip (your palms facing forward) and hands less than shoulder width apart.

  2. Sit on the edge of the decline bench and secure your feet and ankles underneath the pads.

  3. Lie on the decline bench, simultaneously bringing the Olympic bar to a position where you simulate a bench press movement.

  4. Once your arms are extended and your palms are facing upward, the Olympic bar is held directly over eye level.

Decline Triceps Extensions Exercise Technique

  • Keeping your arms in a fixed position, slowly flex the elbows and lower the bar to your forehead.

  • Once the bar almost touches your forehead, use your triceps muscles to push your arms back to the full extension.

  • Repeat the movement until the desired number of repetitions is completed.
