Eggnog PreparationSeparate the egg yolks and whites, beat the yolks with half of the sugar. For the egg whites, beat them first,t hen mix in the other half of the sugar. Combine egg yolks and whites, then mix in liquor slowly. Whip in milk, and half of the cream. Whip in the other half of the cream carefully and 'fold it' to get that great topping for your eggnog. Refrigerate covered for 3 hours. Serve sprinkled with fresh nutmeg and cinnamon to taste. |
