One Arm Cable Triceps Extensions Starting Position

  1. Attach a loop handle to the overhead cable pulley.

  2. Facing the pulley, grasp the loop handle in the right hand with an underhand grip and step approximately one foot back from the pulley.

  3. Pull the handle down far enough to allow the arms to rest firmly against the side of your torso.

  4. Your elbows should be flexed.

One Arm Cable Triceps Extensions Exercise Technique

  • Moving only your lower arm, slowly pull the handle back and downward until your arm is fully extended.

  • Hold the position fully extended for a moment and resist as your lower arm returns to the starting position.

  • Repeat the movement until the desired number of repetitions is completed.

  • Then repeat with your other arm.
