Standing One-Leg Calf Raises Starting Position

  1. Stand on a calf machine, with the ball of your right foot at the edge of the platform.

  2. Place your hands on top of the shoulder pads to stabilize your body.

  3. Allow your heel to drop as far below the level of your toes as possible.

Standing One-Leg Calf Raises Exercise Technique

  • Raise your torso as high as possible on the ball of your foot and toes.

  • Once the top of the movement is reached, slowly lower your heel as far as you can returning to the starting position.

  • Repeat until the number of desired repetitions is completed. Then repeat with the other foot.
