Upright Rows

Upright Rows Starting Position

  1. Keep your back erect, with your knees slightly bent, and a shoulder-width stance throughout the entire movement.

  2. Then grasp the barbell with an overhand grip with hands approximately two thumb's widths apart.

  3. The Olympic bar is resting at a position across the upper thighs.

Upright Rows Exercise Technique

  • Raise your bar from the extended position to the point where it reaches the chin (raise your elbows high), and slowly lower the bar to the starting position.

  • Repeat the movement until the desired number of repetitions is completed while keeping the movement fluent, slow, and controlled.
