Wrist Extensions (Olympic Bar)

Wrist Extensions Starting Position

  1. Grasp the bar with an overhand grip (your palms should be facing down), and sit on the end of a flat bench.

  2. Place your feet flat on the floor with a slightly closer than shoulder width stance.

  3. Lean your torso forward, run your forearms down your thighs until your wrists and hand hang over the end of your knees.

  4. Allow the weight to be lowered until the barbell is rolled on to the fingers.

Wrist Extensions Exercise Technique

  • Using your forearm muscles, raise the bar by extending the wrists to high of apposition as possible.

  • Slowly lower the weight to the starting position, and repeat the movement until the desired number of repetitions is completed.
